- That's pretty lame. What about all the PC and MAC users who
- always bungle up Amiga Fido, Amiga Newsgroups, Amiga BBS, etc. and all the
- snide plastic toy comments by PC users AND PC mags and AP journalists who
- suddenly turn around and claim to have invented all of these wonders every
- five years when they finally appear on their computers. Talk about jerks.
- I had people calling me an idiot for buying an A1000 instead of
- an Apple IIe, many people!! I told them that the A1000 was really powerful.
- Then I said that it even had a blitter and 4096 colors. As soon as that came
- out of my mouth they laughed and said just as I thought, it is just a plastic
- toy. No serious computer will ever have that stuff in it. Multi-tasking is
- totally useless, the biggest fraud since. Then suddenly VGA comes out and
- color gfx are God's gift to mankind.

- What about the IBM+Apple consipiracy with journalist to kill the Amiga?

- I guess. I really disliked Apple very strongly back in the Apple II days
- though. The MAC was interesting and it did get GUIs and stuff going in PCs.
- It's always nice to have a good spread of machines available.

- Perhaps, he's better than Pournelle about it, or is that the other way
- around? Hmm. I know one of the two showed at least a token of something less
- than contempt for the Amiga and Amiga users.
